Job Title: Bookkeeper in AI Startup

Company: Almma.AI – The First AI Marketplace

Location: Online. DC-metropolitan area.

Job Type: Part-time (minimum wage) Contractor.

Job Description: Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a knack for organization? Almma.AI is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our company’s financial management by allocating expenses into QuickBooks, ensuring that our financial records are accurate and current, and managing our cash flows. As a startup, we employ a revolutionary way of allocating costs in the initial phases, offering you an exciting and unique experience.

Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize expenses in QuickBooks
• Build and maintain up-to-date cash flow statements
• Develop and implement a cash flow management strategy
• Maintain and update financial records
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and rectify errors
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Collaborate with the finance team to support various financial tasks
• Assist with other administrative and finance-related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in bookkeeping or a related field is a plus
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• A passion for finance and a desire to learn and grow in the field
